Creator's Corner Triple Feature: Meet the artists of the Splat Squad!
The art of filmmaking, especially animated films, requires a keen eye for colour and detail, and making eye-catching characters! That’s one thing these three guys have in abundance! They have bonded over their love of art and collaborated in a team they have called the Splat Squad!

The Final Camp Is a Wrap!
We have concluded our final camp and with that, the summer camps. We are positively proud of all the hard work the participants have put into these films and how magnificent and original they are! The producers and managers put their all into directing and developing the movies and it really shows!

Advanced Camp is complete!
We made it through our three week camp and we have three amazing films finished to show at the Gala! This camp we made one animated special and we were able to successfully film two live action movies as well.

Camp One of 2021 Was a Lot of Fun!
It was awesome to do our first camp this year! We were able to film in the studio with one group and make an animated film with another group!

Mike Da Bird has an important video premiering on YouTube tonight at 8pm! He has got a brand makeover and is taking to Twitch, going live next week! He talks about that and a lot more in his new video! He has his new avatar, new projects, and some surprising goals for the future! They’re amazing and his new look is beautiful!

Artistic Heroes-A collection of Autistic Creatives!
Steven Atme brought together his community to show the talents of autistic people. Everything from playing instruments, singing, cooking and even karate! It was an awesome event and showed the creativity of many people along the spectrum, even our very own Ben Bisanti!

It’s Autism Pride Day!

If you love The Debaters, or just love watching hilarious disputes, you’ll love this! Join Adam Schwartz, Michael McCreary, Pat Tiffin and Curran Dobbs as they wrangle with the question: “Who is the Greatest Autistic Character of all Time?” There are now quite a few to choose from, and who knows who will dominate the others!

Spectrum Medieval Double Feature!
.Take a gander into the medieval world with these two short films! A world of Princesses, Knights and Jesters awaits ye! Just be careful with the swords now. These movies were made during our camp at home last summer and came out better than we could have imagined! Thanks to the dedicated producers and a lot of creativity from the participants, they have made some real unique films!
You can be a part of our productions too by signing up for one of our camps this year, we have four different times for different ages and skill sets. One team in each camp will make an animated film from home, and two teams will start from home and film in the studio!

3 More Animated Short Films!
Summer is fast approaching and before we start another summer of camps, we have three movies to show you from last year! That’s right, three animated works of art! One with a ragtag group of penguins, a competition with a delicious prize, and a long lost character returning to Spectrum with a dire mission. These were all made by the dedicated participants and staff last summer working from home, and their talents really show! We hope you have enjoyed all these animated features and we can’t wait to make more this summer!

Spectrum Double Feature! Animations from Summer Camp!
Take an adventure into colourful worlds with even more colourful characters in these animated masterpieces! These were all made from home in Montreal as well as British Colombia and Chile! It was definitely a challenge to produce films solely from home but with remote work, free software, and a dedicated team of producers, we were able to make some really entertaining movies! You can be a part of that this year by signing up for one of our camps!

Best-selling Author and Animator Has Donated to Spectrum Productions!
Jenny Story, author of Dysnomia: Outcasts On a Distant Moon, has given us at Spectrum a great deal of support! She is a Vancouver FIlm School Graduate and an acclaimed animator, so she definitely understands what goes into filmmaking and she has donated $500!

This hard-working Community Creator has a brand-new series, Viking Hill!
Tristan Maroun, aka Game Success on youtube, has been reviewing animated TV shows and movies for more than two years. He has also made Life is a Stinker at Spectrum and has contributed to many other projects at the studio. Outside the studio, he hosts Tristanimation Reviews and has started work on his own animated series, Viking Hill.

This Creator’s Cartoon Series Goes Prehistoric!
Want to take an adventure back to the time of the Dinosaurs? Ben Bisanti has made a series that you’ll really enjoy! With so many colourful and witty characters, there’s a lot of crazy clashes and stirring moments! It’s a very unique show and we hope you go and watch it!

Premiere of Data Breach: An animated feature in the New Age of Heroes series!
In Data Breach (2020), the NAOH series takes on a completely different style as it goes two-dimensional in animation, and brings even more dimensions to new and old characters in the Spectrum Cinematic Universe.

Hello everyone! My name is Sierra Lynne and I was born in Vernon, British Columbia on October 8th 1997. If you’re wondering how I came all the way from BC to QC, it was very coincidental. As you may know, Dan is from Salmon Arm, BC, just an hour away from my hometown and we had a family friend connection. My grandparents are friends with Dan’s parents Rick and Reina and in 2015, my mom and my grandpa were visiting them. My grandpa brought up that I was autistic and my mom mentioned I had been in acting classes for five years at that point and that I was very interested in filmmaking. When my mom came home she encouraged me to sign up for the advanced camp as soon as I could. I was very interested in participating, as I had always wanted to travel to the other side of the country…
