Spectrum Productions runs a social enterprise model production company that uniquely employs individuals on the autism spectrum in all aspects of film and media production. 

Since the inception of this idea in 2010 we have employed autistic staff on professional media productions ranging from, event coverage, training and how to videos, logo animations, 2D and 3D animations, and motion graphics. Our model integrates professional mentorship in all our productions, creating a seamless link between high quality deliverables and resume building experience.

Our list of clients grows continually, and to date, includes like-minded community organizations, corporations, government, health and educational institutions, and the general public. In the past 5 years, our reach has grown from Quebec to all across Canada, with productions in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Nova scotia to name a few. Our satisfied client base, impressed with the high quality of work we produce, drives our way forward into the national marketplace. 

Since 2015 we have brought in over $400,000 in production contracts that have all been crewed with autistic creatives from our studios here in Montreal. We have paid on average 45% of all contract salaries each year to autistic creatives.

Spectrum Productions was contracted to produce a retrospective video of Geneva Centre for Autism’s International Symposium at the Toronto Convention Centre. This biennial conference is the largest autism symposium in Canada. The experience with the team from Spectrum was beyond our expectations. The crew seamlessly weaved in and out of all presentations and activities on site for an up and close look at the event. Spectrum Productions is a creative and collaborative partner.
